Ice Spice Talks about Competition amongst female rappers in her latest interview with Variety
|In as much as many female rappers have complained in the past on how they don't like the fact they are made to compete with each other, there is always a high demand on them by fans to be in competition with each other. These complaints usually don't make any difference as fans would always go right back and keep doing it.
However, Ice Spice had a recent interview with Variety and there she aired her very different view about the competition going on between female rappers in the rap industry. In her new interview, Ice Spice spoke on how there's always a competition between female rappers even when they don't want it. in her words, she told Variety: "It is a competition at the end of the day. People want to be all 'I'm a girl's girl', but then behind the scenes being b*tches. Basically, we here, the girls, are doing amazing. I'm excited to see it. I feel like the competition is what keeps us all excited because i think we all secretly enjoy competing and seeing who put the sh*t on better and who's gon'get the most views."
This new interview with Ice Spice drew a lot of attention from fans especially the Taylor Swift's appearance. She said that Spice "impresses the hell" out of her as she praises the rapper's hustle, personality and professionalism.
Ice Spice also talked about her relationship with Matty Healy who is a lead singer from pop rock band. He made cruel jokes about the rapper on a podcast but since then, he apologized and according to her, the two are now good. There are many more moments in the interview that fans are going crazy about.
